1933 Souvenir Greyhound Lines Bus from Chicago's - A Century of Progress -
Greyhound was the official transportation carrier of Chicago's 1933 Century of
Progress World's Fair. It provided sightseeing tours of the grounds as
well as transportation from stops outside the grounds. This cast iron toy bus is a
replica of one of the sightseeing buses made by The Arcade
Manufacturing Co. of Freeport, Illinois, in 1933. Their logo appears on the back of the cab. This toy is one of the few that Arcade copyrighted. The side of the bus is stamped with the copyright, 1933 A.M.C.
The bus measures 10.25 inches long x 1.75 inches high x 2 inches wide. The bus is in very good condition with all original paint but does show signs of wear as seen in the photos. The tires are cracked from age.
Cast Iron Bank Safe with original directions and combination. This bank is in very good condition with only slight signs of wear. The mechanism on the door works smoothly. There is a patent mark on the bottom that reads Aug. 24, 1897. The bank measures 4 inches high x 3 inches wide x 2 5/8 deep and weighs 1lb. 7 oz.
Vintage Zell Mickey Mouse Bank ca. 1935 Mickey Mouse Bank with original key and box (no flaps) - in mint condition. The bank measures 3 1/8 x 4 1/4.

This is a 1930's red and yellow litho Wolverine Toy Stove complete with 2 pots, pan, teapot, collander, spoon and strainer with all working parts. It measures 13 inches high with the backboard - the stove measures 10 inches high x 14 inches wide x 7 inches deep. The condition is very good for its age and only one side has any signs of wear in the paint.
The stove has been safely stored in the attic for over 60 years.
