This is a reprint of the 1938 Superman #1 Comic book which was printed in
1976 as a mail order premium for a sleeping bag company. Published by National Periodical Publications, Inc.
The
ad on the back cover is for a Superman Sleeping Bag - For $15.95 plus 2
outside wrappers from the double pack of G.H. Wood Sponge Towels the
bag was yours. (The offer expired on December 31, 1976.
The comic measures 6
5/8 x 10 3/16 and is in excellent condition.
This 1930's Coffee Set comes with a Percolator, Creamer, 6 Cake
Plates, 6 Cups and Saucers, 4 Dessert Bowls, 4 Cups, 5 Dessert Spoons, 4
Sugar Spoons, 4 Knives and 5 Desert Forks. The Coffee Pot has a slight
ding on the top as seen in the photo. It measures 5 1/2 inches and has
a bright red wooden handle. The Creamer measures 4 inches, the Cake
Dishes measure 4 1/2 inches, Cups measure 3 inches and the silverware
measures 3 3/4 inches.
This amazing set was stored in an attic
for over 60 years and is in very good condition. It was
manufactured by the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Co.
The Tin Litho Windup Popeye Overhead Punching Bag was introduced in 1932 by J. Chein & Co. under license to King Features Syndicate. It measures 9 1/2 inches - the mechanism works - the celluloid bag has 2 dent and part of the string has been replaced with a bobby pin. This rare find is in very good condition. It has been stored in my aunt's attic for over 60 years.

Henry on the Elephant Celluloid Wind-up from the 1930's. The pink-orange elephant is very rare!! Henry rides the trunk of the elephant while the native boy rides on top. The wind-up mechanism works but needs a little tweaking. The overall condition is very good. There is a slight 1/4 inch split on the neck of the elephant as seen in close-up photo.

This is a set of The Modern Toys Kilgore Line which includes a sedan, coupe, taxi, bus and airplane - Set No. 52
The first injection molded toy car was
made out of cellulose acetate and was part of a new toy line introduced
by the Kilgore Manufacturing Company at the March 1937 International
Toy Fair held in New York City.
Kilgore, located in Westerville, Ohio,
had established itself as an innovator in 1932 when it introduced a
line of ten-cent cast iron automobiles with real rubber tires in an
effort to become the leader in the inexpensive toy category.
Kilgore's line of plastic vehicles was called "Jewels for Playthings".

This 1930's Wolverine Toy Vanity includes the original brush as well as
a small Chapstick advertising booklet, a Kleenex packet and Tayton's
Face Powder envelope. It measures 11 3/4 inches wide x 16
inches high x 7 1/2 inches deep. (Vanity table is 9 inches high and the
mirror panel is 7 inches high)

This is the pre-war Lionel Mechanical Train Set #1531 which includes the Locomotive painted black and red with copper details on top with the original key, Sunoco Oil Tanker #1515 with copper and brass details, Coal car and an Erie Box Car with sliding doors and a beautiful teal roof. Also included are 6 curved tracks and 2 straight tracks and the box which is in excellent condition.
This Antique Lionel Train Set has been stored in the attic for over 60 years and is in very good condition for its age.

This is the 1936 Lionel O Gauge 1107 Donald Duck and Pluto Rail Car in the original box. The windup works but stops when placed on the tracks -it may need a little oil. Plutos head doesn't move when wound so a little neck adjustment is in order. The condition is very nice for its age. Donald's beak has some paint missing on the right side but no damage to the composition.
This 1930's Wolverine Toy Cupboard includes the original miniature food boxes, Wooden Kitchen Utensils and bowls. The miniature food boxes include 2 Kellog's Corn Flakes Cereal Boxes, 3 H-O Quick Oats Boxes and 1 Bon Ami Soap Powder Box. It measures 13 1/2 inches wide x 13 1/2 inches high x 7 inches deep. The cupboard is in very good condition for its age since it has been stored in an attic for over 60 years.

This is a 1930's red and yellow litho Wolverine Toy Stove complete with 2 pots, pan, teapot, collander, spoon and strainer with all working parts. It measures 13 inches high with the backboard - the stove measures 10 inches high x 14 inches wide x 7 inches deep. The condition is very good for its age and only one side has any signs of wear in the paint.
The stove has been safely stored in the attic for over 60 years.
