ca. 1733

Guilielmus Shakespeare. Designer: Jean Dassier from The British Worthies Series - Size: 43mm.

One side features a representation of Shakespeare derived from the Chandos Portrait, ca. 1610, attributed to John Taylor. The reverse is a view of the valley and reads "Wild Above Rule of Art".
