The Green Man is an ancient symbol of man's deep connection to nature; he is a decorative Gothic carving characterized by a human image that appears to be sprouting foliage. The keystone itself is from around the turn of the century and is solid and heavy, it measures 17 inches high by 12 inches wide. This particular artifact was salvaged from a building in lower East Side of New York City in the 1950's.

This wonderful keystone was salvaged from the lower East Side in New York City in the 1950's, though it's origin was around the turn of the century. It measures 22.5 inches; in height and 11 inches; deep. It's a bit weather worn and has very slight chips.
